Dear all, the statement that i've mentioned during LMQA presentation that is highlighted as important is as follow:

-Proficiency Testing is required for only the test system, assay, or examination used as the primary method for patient testing during the PT event.

Murine typhus-->caused by Rickettsia Powazekii
Symptoms: headache/chills/rashes
Sample collected: --hair from wild dogs and cats
-- human excrete and urine
--feces of fleas
--blood sample
Processing: observe under microscope/detection of Ab
Treatment: antibiotics such as tetracycline, doxycycline, or chloramphenicol.
