hi guys sorry for the delay in finding a good example of the abnormal karyotype.

in this case it is a patient with derivative material on the 16th chromosome, and the addtional material is a translocation from the chromosome 20 at p11.2 site to p13.3 on chromosome 16.

it is important that a med tech is able to read and write the standard nomenclature for the chromosomes to let others know what is going on.
